WAVENET’s commitment to Research, Development and Innovation is present in the organizational structure of the company.
It focuses on the development and innovation of products and complete systems.

INNOVA-ADELANTE

The following projects have been co-financed by “Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha” into “INNOVA-ADELANTE” Program and European Community by FEDER funds:

  • COLUMBUS Project: System for determination of real location in the space, independent of satellite systems.
  • SPIDER Project: New radar-altimeter that incorporates several types of sensors.
  • CRYPTO Project: SDR avionics system shipped and not shipped, type transmistter/receiver for data transfer between RPAS and ground stations, ensuring the transmission of information thanks to its encryption.

DRAGON-FLY

Sense & Avoid system for drones. Project co-financed by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

ELECTRA

Project “Retos-Colaboración 2017” of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness into the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016 in the State Program of I+D+i Oriented to the Challenges of Society.

The objective of this project is the development, manufacture and integration of a 100% electric propulsion system for light aircrafts and UAV’s.

The WAVENET’s participation in this project consists of the development of a complete telemetry and control system of the main electric plane’s power system parameters.

Our company has received a loan of 95% of the budget for this project.
